What we’re about
The Kansas City Conscious Dying Meetup Group is a welcoming community hosted by KC End of Life, a network of death doulas. We are dedicated to fostering open and supportive discussions around the topic of death and end-of-life planning. Our group provides a safe space for individuals to explore their values, wishes, and priorities when facing mortality through community end-of-life planning initiatives. We host engaging DeathTalks sessions where members can share their thoughts, fears, and experiences surrounding death, as well as participate in open forums designed to normalize conversations about this important topic. Additionally, our gatherings feature Death Cafés, inviting attendees to share refreshments and engage in candid conversations about death in a comfortable and non-judgmental setting.
