Kansas City Jazz Meetup

Free and open to the public!
A 16-piece band, made up of some of Kansas City's best musicians, including members of the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra, will be led by Mike Parkinson, Bob Long, Clarence Smith and Clint Ashlock. This open reading session invites educators and their students to sit in with the band!
If you don't play, come and listen! The sets will include new and classic works for jazz bands, grades 2 – 4.
Presented in partnership with the American Jazz Museum and the Kansas City Jazz Ambassadors' Jamey Aebersold Concert Series.
