In this teleconference, Grand Master Julie Scott will lead us in exploring the value of doing hard things. Using our real-life experiences, timeless wisdom, Rosicrucian philosophy, and modern neuroscience, we’ll see how doing difficult things builds resilience, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for life. We’ll learn some practical tips for getting started when something feels hard and will practice a guided reflection to help reframe challenges as opportunities. Hard things don’t break us – they help us discover what we’re capable of.

The AMORC book Six Eminent Mystics by Past Grand Master Raymund Andrea takes as its sixth exposition the mystical life of Edgar Allan Poe. We see how Poe, in his poetry, early detective stories, tales of the psychic, and elucidations of the Cosmos, transports us and lifts the veil between the finite and infinite planes. We will follow up on these relations and how to recognize expressions of mysticism in whatever form they take, expected or unexpected. Join Hugh McCague as we continue to explore Rosicrucian laws and principles and their creative expression and application for the mastery of life, harmonious living, and service.
