Join us for a free wine tasting at Marco Polo Selections in the Waldo neighborhood of Kansas City on Saturday, September 16 at 6 pm. Note: this is NOT the same location as Marco Polo’s Italian Market on 103rd.
Billed as a local hipster butcher shop of wines, they sell mostly international, small batch wines from small family-owned vineyards. You can not find most of these wines anywhere else in the United States. The majority of their wines are priced below $40. One of the owners picks 9 wines from the tasting wall each week and our guide will walk us through 4 of them.
I will bring prosciutto and cheese. Consider bringing a small bite to share.
Since I have made reservations for this event, it is extremely important to keep your RSVP updated. I understand circumstances happen, however, changing to “not-going” less than 24 hours before the event is considered rude and will not go unnoticed. The same applies to no-shows.
