Sunday Walk (now on the 15th) and coffee - Waikanae Beach and Waimea Lagoon

Rescheduled from the 8th to 15th of June to avoid cold southerly on the 8th.

Meet at the beach end of Waimea Road - the carpark next to what used to be the Tuk Tuk restaurant. Beach walk to Waikanae estuary, circuit Waimea Lagoon, return to start then drive to Long Beach for coffee.
Note: If the tide is still too high we can reverse the direction of the walk!

General Tips for walk
Pack adequate food and water for the journey.
Take warm waterproof clothing and durable footwear, along with sun protection.

Cancellation - any cancellation notice will be posted by 8am on the morning of the walk.
