Remembering Steve McDaniel: 5K Walk/Run & Karaoke Night

Join us as we come together to celebrate the life of our dear friend, Steve McDaniel, with two of the things he loved most – running and karaoke.

Location: Starting at Boombox, 122 Fountain St, Providence, RI

Event Details: We'll begin with a 5K walk/run through Providence, starting and ending at Boombox. A printed map will be provided for the route. Afterward, we’ll gather next door at Murphy’s Providence for food, sharing stories, and remembering Steve. To close out the evening, we’ll return to Boombox for a night of karaoke – a favorite activity we enjoyed together with Steve. Let’s sing, laugh, and celebrate his memory with songs we know he would have loved.
Supporting a Cause:

In honor of Steve, we’ll also be raising donations for the Rhode Island Food Bank. A handout at the event will include a QR code linking directly to their page, where you can make a donation in his name. Let’s make a difference in Steve’s honor by helping those in need.
Whether you join us for the walk, run, singing, or simply to share memories, we’d love for you to be part of this special evening. Feel free to stay at Boombox after 8 PM as karaoke continues into the night.
