Castle hike: Baden Baden to Yburg, 14 km, 450 hm

There's a castle near Baden Baden that just reopened and it even has a restaurant. We're going to hike there from Baden Baden.

This is a medium difficulty hike with around 5 hours walking time (plus breaks), 14 km lenght and 450 m ascent.

Getting there:

• Let's meet at Karlsruhe Hbf, track 4 (around section E) at 10am.
• Take the RE (direction Konstanz) to Baden Baden at 10:07.
• Take a bus from Baden Baden Bahnhof to Hindenburgplatz (arriving 10:44).
• If you come by car you can join as at Trinkhalle (around 10:50).

What to bring:

• 1-3 litres of water
• snacks for lunch time (or get food in the castle restaurant)
• weather appropriate clothing (good to be prepared for anything in this season, including rain and cold weather)
