Sunset walk: alter Flugplatz, Karlsruhe Nord

There's a small nature reserve in Karlsruhe Nordstadt, just a few minutes by tram from Europaplatz.
This place has a variety of mostly sandy soils, resulting in different sorts of gras growing on most of the area.
Historically, this was the site of an airport used by the USA and an exercise area for the army up to around WW1 (old barracks buildings are nearby at Moltkestr.).

There are a lot of cute wild bunnies living there that we can see from the paths.

Let's meet at Lilienthalstraße tram station.
We can walk for around an hour or a bit more or less.

No hiking shoes required here.
