Pfalz hike: Weinsteig to Bad Bergzabern - 16 km, 470 hm

Let's do another hike in Pfalz / Palatinate along Pfälzer Weinsteig. Sites along the way include beautiful villages, a castle and a tower with nice views.

Getting there:

• Let's meet at Karlsruhe Hbf, platform 101
• We're taking a train at 10:05 to Winden (direction Neustadt), then Bad Bergzabern, then a bus to Schweigenbach
• If you want to join us by car, note that this is not a round trip. You can meet us in Bad Bergzabern at 10:50 to take the bus with us. We're going back to Bad Bergzabern Bahnhof.

What to bring:

• hat and sun block recommended
• at least 2 litres of water
• food/ snacks for lunch time
• relatively sturdy shoes
