Monument Hike: Teufelstisch, Pfalz - 4.6 km, 180 hm

We're going to Dahn region to see some famous rock formations. Hinterweidenthal has probably one of the most stunning rocks: Teufelstisch / devil's table. It's type is called mushroom rock for obvious reasons.

This is an easy to medium difficulty hike with 4.6 km and an ascent of 180 hm. It's quite short so we can take our time to admire the rock structures and go to a restaurant after the hike.

Getting there:

• From Karlsruhe Hbf take the RE on track 101, departing 11:06.
• In Landau Hbf change to an RB train on track 5.
• Coming by car? You can join us at the start point of the hike, which is near Hinterweidenthal Ort train station.
• We'll be at the start point around 12:30.

What to bring:

• water and snacks
• weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes
