Join us at Karuta Kōen PDX, where we gather to celebrate the beauty of traditional Japanese games and culture. Our focus is on karuta, but we also play riichi mahjong and koi koi (hanafuda)! Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, you're welcome to come learn, play, and connect.
We’re an LGBTQ+ friendly group that also loves practicing Japanese language together—so feel free to bring your curiosity and your cards!
