Kathak Foundations Workshop 🌸

Neelam Dance Academy is hosting a 6-week Kathak Foundations Workshop from November 3rd to December 8th, 2026, at The Dance Centre in Vancouver. This technique-focused workshop is designed for adults of all levels as well as children 5+ years accompanied by an adult. No prior Kathak experience is required. Over the six weeks, participants will be introduced to the foundations of Kathak.

1. Workshop Venue: The Dance Centre
2. Workshop Schedule: The workshop will consist of 6 sessions. Each session will last 1 hour. Tuesdays (5.30-6.30 PM).
3. Attire: Participants are requested to wear comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. Additionally, please bring a pair of jingle tied anklets (ghungroo) if you have them. This is RECOMMENDED. Here is the link for purchase.
4. Workshop Guidelines: We aim to create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. We request you to inform the instructor of any health conditions or injuries that may affect your participation.
