Celebrate Earth Day at Lovers Key State Park 5 mile paddle beach time after.

Let’s celebrate Earth Day at the beach.
Launch will be the kayak launch inside Lovers Key State Park follow the road to the end of the there is a charge for entering the park park passes accepted.
We will do the inside paddle about 5 miles it follows the Black Island Trail it is sheltered from the winds. Out and back paddle. Pack up our kayaks and go to the beach on the front side, for swimming and sunning or hike the inside of Black Island trail nice hike with short cuts along the way. This way you can go home whenever you want.
I haven’t done this paddle before (posting a photo) but I have used this launch. Sandy launch bring wheels if you have them. The park has a snack bar and restrooms near the beach, launch does not have facilities.
Bring PFD, water, lunch and be ready to celebrate the earth.
It’s a walk to the beach but they do have tram if you want to take it.
