Ponce de Leon Park and the Mangrove Tunnels

Lets do the Ponce Canals. We will launch at Ponce de Leon Park (*3400 Ponce de Leon Pkwy, Punta Gorda, FL 33950). Launch either at the boat launch or the sand behind the rescue. MeetUp at 9 am on the water in the eddy across from the small fishing boat launch pier. We will paddle through the mangrove tunnels and back through Charlotte Harbor. Some may turn back at the rim canal (a 4 mile paddle). The full paddle is about 8 miles. Bring safety gear and lots of fluids its plenty warm out there. Bug stuff in the boat!!
