Have you ever wondered what it would be like to Kayak at night?
If so, grab your friends, a ton of glow sticks, and join us for our "Glow Float" event.
We will meet at the Howard Road Boat Ramp and launch from the kayak dock at 9:00. This will be a SELF-GUIDED float around the lake so come back early, or stay out as long as you want!
There is safety in numbers but ALL participants are required to bring and carry with them while on the water, their own headlight or flashlight. The state of Ohio requires this equipment for any kayak underway after sunset in order to avoid potential collision.
We will have 8 adult kayaks available to rent (Rental must be booked prior to the event).

While we want this to be a great experience, everyone’s safety is our priority! Due to the additional risk associated with kayaking at night:
ALL renting participants will be required to check-in at time of arrival (this is to ensure waivers are signed) AND check-out prior to their departure from the launch area (this is to ensure everyone who went out, returned safely). Anyone bringing their own kayak will not need to check-in or sign a waiver as you assume all risk on your own.
ALL renting participants are REQUIRED to wear a PDF, it is strongly recommended that ALL participants wear one!
