Southbury Boat Launch to the Shepaugh Dam, Lake Zoar paddle!

Jay has invited us on his mid-week paddle, details below:

Nice relaxing paddle from the Southbury Boat Launch on 210 Scout Rd to the Shepaug Dam. In the water 10:30 am. We leave on time.

We will have a nice relaxing paddle up to the Shepaug Dam where we will stop for a lunch break. After lunch we will head back, and paddle up the Pomperaug River to the falls.
This paddle is a gathering of people enjoying a common interest, not a guided tour, there is no paddle leader, so your personal safety is your responsibility alone. Paddle at your own risk, and by going on this paddle you knowingly accept all responsibility for your own safety.

Kayaks should be 14' or longer, no SOT's, SUP's, rafts or inflatables, Surf skis OK. You should know how to assist/self rescue and keep pace with the group. Approximate distance to be covered 10+ miles. Bring lunch, snacks, water, sunscreen anything you need for a day trip. Please only sign up if coming.
