WELCOME TO BEGINNER'S KAYAKING IN GRÖNDAL!
Join us for our exciting event at KAYAKOMAT Stockholm Gröndal – it's going to be an amazing adventure! 🚣‍♂️

PERFECT FOR THOSE WHO:

• Have never paddled a kayak before but want to learn.
• Have paddled a few times but want to brush up on the basics for more confidence.
• Want to experience how KAYAKOMAT works.
• Meet other people that like to kayak!

AFTER BEGINNER'S PADDLING, YOU WILL:

• Feel more confident handling a kayak on land and in water.
• Be able to maneuver the kayak safely.
• Hopefully, have discovered a new, enjoyable, and rewarding hobby! 🌊

THE BASICS WE WILL COVER:

• Proper seating in a kayak.
• Paddling techniques (steering, turning, braking).
• Getting in and out of the water (and getting in and out of the kayak safely).

SCHEDULE FOR BEGINNER'S PADDLING:

• Gathering at the Kayakomat 5-10 minutes before the scheduled booking time – BE ON TIME!
• 15-minute briefing
• 2.5 hours of paddling (with breaks, of course)
• 15 minutes for cleaning the kayaks and returning everything to its place.

HOW TO BOOK YOUR SPOT:

• Visit kayakomat.com, search for Gröndal as the station, and book a single kayak or tandem kayak (if you are two) between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM on Wednesday.
• Check the box indicating that you are attending this event to help us keep track of the bookings.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO CONSIDER:

• Kayak and equipment are included in the price.
• You must be able to swim to participate.
• If you or your party weighs less than 35 kg or more than 100 kg, you must bring your own life jackets.
• Bookings are binding, meaning there is no refund for missed paddling sessions.
• Bring water-resistant clothing, a change of clothes if needed, and a water bottle.
• Paddling is done at your own risk.

PRICES:
Single kayak = 368 SEK
Tandem kayak (double) = 496 SEK

NOTE: This is not an instructor-led lesson from KAYAKOMAT, but our operator Emil will be present to provide his best tips and tricks to ensure your safety and enjoyment in the kayak before we embark on a relaxing paddling tour together.
