Yellowchess – Empowering Breakthroughs on Complex Social Issues
Yellowchess crafts high-impact experiences that blend creativity with strategic insights, fostering meaningful engagement. In doing so, they design breakthroughs on major societal challenges and help organizations to realize these. Founder Ferdy Gilsing has a hybrid background in design and strategy (BMW Group, Royal Philips, Mars Inc). He is an expert in bringing people together in a spirit of creative collaboration, to address complex system challenges and create new partnership ecosystems.
Dutch Invertuals – Radical Minds in Design
For the past 15 years the collective Dutch Invertuals has embraced change as a constant. Led by founder and design director Wendy Plomp, they research emerging cultural, social, and political themes. During the last Dutch Design Week for instance, together with the municipality of Eindhoven, they presented ‘Circles of Universal Language’. It showcased ten designers exploring universal languages—play, sound, art, dance, and nature—as tools for fostering connection. Using the circle as a symbol of unity, their design visions present inclusive, cyclical spaces that could bring Eindhoven communities together.
