What we’re about
Kansas City can be isolating and difficult to connect with Black people across the diaspora who have in mind to celebrate African culture and ancestry. This group aims to bring together KC Africans, Caribbeans, African-Americans, Afro-Latino/a/x, and others in the African Diaspora for socialization and community. This group especially caters to first and second-generation immigrants who wish to celebrate Afrofuturism.
