Internet Marketing Conference Recap and Takeaways

How do you get your website in front of your potential customers? How do you answer the questions that they have (when they and you are separated by the brick wall of the internet)? How do you encourage them to keep coming back?

These are questions that I constantly ask myself. In today's market, everyone is scrambling to get the most attention (thinking that that will lend the most sales). As such, that is why you have annoying popups on websites and emails sharing a 50% off sale, just to find out that it is a very select few products that are 50% off.

I recently attended, for the second time, MozCon in Seattle, WA. MozCon started as an SEO conference but has since morphed into a internet marketing conference. The content there is phenomenal—packed with successes and failures of the veterans of our industry.

I came back with pages of notes. This meetup will be a presentation of these thoughts boiled down into a 50-60 minute discussion.
