I've got some fun accessories , hats, and green & crystal Tierra's for hooper's to wear if you want to accessorize.
Legg Fluffies-I'm wearing white leg fluffies. They cost $15-20 on line to buy in any color.
Where to meet:
Option one. Meet at my house.
Everyone is welcome to meet at my house. I live a few blocks from parade siteYou can come over anytime 10am or after. .
We''ll be taking photos, putting on fun accessories, face jewels, etc. We'll also be blowing up the balloons ( volunteers needed ) to put on the parade vehicles We will load the balloons & hoops in the vehicles and head to our assigned spot in the parade line.
I have some green hats & tierra's to wear in the parade for anyone who wants. You're welcome to wear your own chosen costumes and come dressed up..I will have some pop and water and sandwiches ( or something like that ) for all who want a bite to eat.
I will have to get the 2 vehicals to the Parade site. We will leave my house at appox 12:15 to 12:45pm ) to get the parade vehicals there by 1:00pm. ( You can leave early with me or leave a bit later ) Volunteers need to drive their car from my house & caravan hoopers to the parade site to save the hassel of finding a place to park a bunch of cars near the parade. Since parking maybe tough... Your fine to take you own car and not be part of caravan. Let me know if you can help caravan hoopers.
Option 2- Meet us at the parade site
Get there no later than 1:45pmish. I will give you our assigned parade spot in line so you can find us & tell you what street we are parked on. If your planning on meeting us at the parade site, then the earlier you get to our assigned location the better. Parade organizers said that finding a parking spot near our assigned parade vehicle locations will be difficult due to expected large crowds and parade parties starting.
What happens at the Parade Site:
I will be cranking up the music and starting the Hoop Party when we arrive at the parade site. We'll be putting the balloons & banner on the parade vehicles when we get there. Also, we'll be practicing & warming a bit up before the parade starts. Bottled water will be available as well as extra hoops.
What to Bring:
Bring your Hoop or let me know if I need to loan you one. Bring an off body Hoop. Most Hoopers will be doing hand spinning. ( It will be easier than waist hooping and walking) I'm happy to supply Hoops for all who need one. Please RSVP me to reserve a hoop. I will bring a few extras . If your Hooping & walking, then the easiest thing to do are vertical hand spins.
The parade comes to frequent stops and its a good time to do " showy" tricks if you want or just rest and idle your hoop.
