This hands-on, beginner-friendly course takes the mystery out of how your home works and builds your confidence to tackle common household repairs.

Each class includes a guided project where you’ll roll up your sleeves and put your new knowledge to work on real-life repairs, like replacing an outlet, fixing a leaky faucet, or patching drywall. You’ll walk away with practical skills, newfound confidence, and a deeper understanding of the place you call home— and how to keep it safe, in good repair, and more affordable to maintain.

Classes are through Johnson County Community College Continuing Education Program, altogether 8 sessions, 2 hours for each session on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-8pm From Feb 24-Mar 19. Cost is $129, register here.
