KC Tech Social - Kickoff Meetup

Welcome to the first KC Tech Social!

We're kicking this off on a Monday evening at Border Brewing in the Crossroads. Come hang out, meet some fellow tech people, and help us launch what will hopefully become KC's go-to casual tech meetup.

What to expect: This is the inaugural event, so we're keeping it simple. Show up, grab a drink (or don't - water's free), find a spot at the outdoor picnic tables or inside, and say hi to whomever's around. No agenda, no presentations, no sales pitches. Just people talking tech, swapping stories, and making connections.

Who should come: Developers, sysadmins, designers, product people, NetSuite & ERP folks, startup founders, freelancers, students, tech recruiters, career changers - basically anyone working in or interested in tech in Kansas City. All experience levels welcome.

Logistics: We'll be hanging out from 5-7pm officially, but feel free to show up late or stay longer if the vibe is good. Look for the group outside at the picnic tables (weather permitting) or inside near the bar. I'll have a laptop or be the person awkwardly looking around for other tech people.

The goal: Meet some cool people. Have some good conversations. Maybe find a job lead, a coworker, a collaborator, or just someone who gets your work frustrations. Let's see where this goes.
