CGC & CGCA Prep and Therapy dog training (week )

AKC Canine Good Citizen and Canine Good Citizen Advanced Prep class as well as Therapy dog assessment and training.

Purpose of this class is to specifically work on the items necessary for your dog to earn their CGC or CGCA certificate/title and to see if dog is suited for Therapy dog work.

Dogs need to have basic obedience in order to attend as I will not be teaching the basic commands (those are taught in our Basic Obedience classes.) This is to provide a different environment to practice and develop better skills in order to successfully pass the CGC or CGCA test.

I need at least 4 dogs in order to host this class.
Class is $80 if you are a member of the club and if not then a $20 membership fee is added. Class will go for 6 weeks to perfect each item on the CGC or the CGCA test. We will meet the first 2-3 weeks at the location listed. After that we will be testing out local parks to proof our dogs behaviors.

I MUST have a copy of your dogs most recent shot records in order for your dog to participate in the class.
Dogs need to be on a flat buckle collar and a 6ft leash. (Pinch collars, head halters and electric collars are not allowed per AKC.)
You may bring treats or a toy to this class to reward your dog but be aware that during the test you are not allowed to use treats...Only after as a reward. This will be a great practice for both you and your dog to learn to perform without treats.
