STAR Puppy & Basic Obedience (week 4)

This is a series of 6 (1hr) classes...No new dogs after week 2!

Open to - Dogs 4 months of age (with parvo shots completed) and OLDER! If your dog is under 1 year of age when you start this class you have the possibility of earning their STAR puppy certificate.

Please fill out the following form prior to attending your first class and then print and bring it with you and a copy of their vet records. :)

Bring with you:

• LOTS of treats (hot dogs or cheese work great)
• Copy of their vaccine record
• 4-6ft leash (no retractable or chain leashes)
• Flat collar or front clip harness (no prong/chain or e-collars)
• Class fee in cash or check (made payable to KCA) Fee is $80 for the class and a membership fee ($20) is required at your first class. Membership fees are good for 1 year. (Total at 1st class is $100)

Basic skills guaranteed to cover: (more will be taught as needed/requested)

• Sit
• Down
• Stay
• Recall
• Leave it
• Solutions for pulling on leash and other behavior problems.
• Responsible ownership and care

IMPORTANT: All dogs must have all their vaccinations current including Parvo, Rabies & DHLPP. Bordetella is also recommended.

One handler/one dog teams, please. NO baby/toddler/young children please.
