Featured speaker: John Mueter, "Living in India"

John Mueter is a pianist, vocal coach, educator and writer living in Kansas City. Now retired, he was formerly on the faculties of the UMKC Conservatory and the School of Music at KU, as well as participating in various summer music programs such as Theatre International in Leysin, Switzerland; the Seagle Music Colony in Schroon Lake, New York; Opera in the Ozarks; the Clear Creek Music Festival in Halfway, Oregon; and the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria. He has had over 45 short stories and poems published in many different journals. A collection of stories and poems, "Last Days," was recently published by Amazon. He identifies as a humanist, atheist, and practicing Buddhist.
