James Moran (he/him) has been an activist and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community for over 20 years. He earned his B.A. in Women's Studies and American Studies from the University of Iowa, and his M.A. in Women's and Gender Studies from Roosevelt University. Over the last decade in the KC metro, James has taught Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Central Missouri; served as director of education at the Kansas City Anti-Violence Project; and currently serves as director of education & public relations for Our Spot KC.
