GIS Hackathon Presentation & Social

Details

We will begin with a presentation by Mark Laudon at 5:30 pm in Meeting Room 2 (upstairs) of the Okanagan Regional Library, 1380 Ellis St. The topic is:

GIS hackathons

Mark has won over 10 of them (even last month) and would love to talk more about them. In addition, Mark has some pretty cool apps to talk about, as well as the merits of the Open Data that supports the apps.

After this, we will head over to BNA Brewing for a 7:00 reservation at 1250 Ellis St, to enjoy food and drinks over chatting. Reservation is under Dianne.

GoGeomatics is a networking event to welcome students, professionals, and academics in the field of geomatics in a casual environment.

Come out and have some drinks with other students, peers and professionals. This group is open to everyone in any geomatics-related field--GIS, surveying, remote sensing, photogrammetry, CAD, and more.
