We will begin with a presentation by Wes Sutherland called “Digital Outcrop Models - a GIS solution” in Meeting Room 2 (upstairs near the stairwell) of the Okanagan Regional Library, 1380 Ellis St.
Some bio information about Wes:
Wes Sutherland is a Sr. Geological Technologist working primarily in the Energy Resource sector for over 30 years in a wide variety of technical capacities, supporting everything from startups to multi-national companies.
With a deep passion for 3D visualizations of simulated and real-world geological and engineering processes, he’s utilized some innovative approaches to handling data gaps over the years.
