We will be having a presentation by Dianne Gray in Meeting Room 2 (upstairs at the top of the stairs) of the library. The presentation will be called "Migrating Python Scripts and Models from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro".

Description:
As the end of life date approaches for ArcMap, you may still have some scripts and models to bring over to ArcGIS Pro. This presentation will provide tips on what to address and how to optimize performance in Pro.

Dianne's GIS work experience includes the municipal, mining, environmental, oil and gas, consulting, and wind energy sectors. Dianne became involved with GoGeomatics through attending the Vancouver socials for two years and began writing articles for GoGeomatics starting in 2013. In 2016, she started the GoGeomatics Kelowna group and is currently a group leader for this group.

From here, we have a 6:45 reservation at Central Kitchen + Bar, 1155 Ellis St. The reservation name is under Dianne. If you can't make the library part, you're still welcome to join for the pub social.

GoGeomatics is a networking event to welcome students, professionals, and academics in the field of geomatics in a casual environment.
Come out and have some drinks with other students, peers and professionals. This group is open to everyone in any geomatics-related field--GIS, surveying, remote sensing, photogrammetry, CAD, and more.
