We will be having a demonstration and discussion by Dianne Gray in Meeting Room 3 (downstairs near the children's area) of the library regarding the Kelowna Mural Map project.

Description:
The Kelowna Mural Map was originally created in 2020 by Dianne Gray as a fun app for the public to use under CTQ Consultants, where they worked at the time, and has undergone various modifications over the years. Now the owner of this project, Dianne has recently updated this map and is looking for user feedback on performance and improvement ideas before promoting it to the public this spring.

Dianne's GIS work experience includes the municipal, mining, environmental, oil and gas, consulting, and wind energy sectors. Dianne became involved with GoGeomatics through attending the Vancouver socials for two years and began writing articles for GoGeomatics starting in 2013. In 2016, she started the GoGeomatics Kelowna group and is currently a group leader for this group.

From here, we have a 6:45 reservation at Central Kitchen + Bar, 1155 Ellis St. The reservation name is under Dianne. If you can't make the library part, you're still welcome to join for the pub social.

GoGeomatics is a networking event to welcome students, professionals, and academics in the field of geomatics in a casual environment.

Come out and have some drinks with other students, peers and professionals. This group is open to everyone in any geomatics-related field--GIS, surveying, remote sensing, photogrammetry, CAD, and more.
