The Haining, loch and woodlands, Selkirk

After too long a break, our next meetup!

A short walk around the loch and grounds of The Haining House, an attractive Palladian mansion on the outskirts of Selkirk. There's also a loch and a woodland.

The main theme for this meetup is Autumnal Landscape. The trees should have some great colour.

A sub-theme is Silhouettes. This involves finding a relatively dark subject against a bright background. The subject should have a great shape and you will need to expose the shot so it appears as a silhouette. This can be done in a variety of ways eg spot metering on the bright background or under-exposing by using exposure compensation.
