Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Magnificent Trees!

Details
After a long break, I'm posting a meetup for 1 pm next Monday, 7th June. We'll meet in the car park on the A697 just north of Fireburnmill. See below for more precise details.
This is the best time of year to visit Dundock Wood as there are rhododendrons and azaleas in abundance and most are in full bloom right now! These are to be found in a mixed woodland with some pretty special trees.
Pictures taken on the day can posted in the gallery associated with this event.
Some assistance will be available if you want to have a go at some macro/close-up shots or if you want to try bracketing shots. Both of these are useful techniques in Dundock Wood. Even on a bright day, parts of the woodland can be quite gloomy. Bringing a tripod is a really good idea!
Also a good idea to wear stout footwear as parts of the path can be muddy.
We may move on to the Hirsel coffee shop at the end of the meetup.
To comply with Covid legislation, I'll take contact details of those attending and we should observe social distancing throughout the meetup.
