A Walk on the Wild(ish) Side

Details
It's been a long time since the group met so we've chosen a location which is nearby and has lots of possibilities for different types of photography.
Harestanes has an abundance of trees of many species including some very spectacular beeches. For those who want to try some close-up or macro, there are lots of wild flowers, although the bluebells and wild garlic are past now. The riverside walk along the Teviot to Monteviot House is definitely worth a try. The suspension bridge is always a fun subject.
There will be several experienced photographers in the group and they will be happy to give assistance and guidance to anyone who wishes. A tripod is recommended especially if you intend to try close-up or macro.
The weather looks not too bad with a 25% chance of a light shower but also the possibility of sunshine. It's a week away and it's Scotland so who knows! If all else fails we'll head for the coffee shop!!
A gallery has already been created for those who wish to share their photos. This will only be available to meetup members.
