Tähe-Lee is regarded as one of Estonia’s brightest rising stars. She has performed in solo recitals, chamber music concerts, and as soloist with orchestras in Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Latvia, Italy, Germany, Israel, and the U.S. She is a graduate of the Tallinn Music High School, the Youth Department of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, and the Sibelius Academy’s Young Musicians International Class. She is currently studying at the Royal College of Music with Dmitri Alexeev and Sir András Schiff.
Tähe-Lee has won many national and international piano competitions and has made solo appearances in music festivals including the Concertino Praga in the Czech Republic, the Sibelius Festival and the Mänttä Music Festival in Finland, and the Chopin Concert Series in Poland. Her repertoire includes concertos by Beethoven (no.4), Grieg, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff (no.2), Mendelssohn (no.1), Chopin (no.2), Haydn (D Major), and Mozart (K. 414, 466, 488), as well as rarer works by Chopin, Mendelssohn, Fazil Tähe-Lee has won many national and international piano competitions and has made solo appearances in music festivals including the Concertino Praga in the Czech Republic, the Sibelius Festival and the Mänttä Music Festival in Finland, and the Chopin Concert Series in Poland. In November 2023 Tähe-Lee’s debut CD was released by Estonian Record Productions, featuring the complete piano works of Arvo Pärt, and upcoming concerts include Chopin’s First Piano Concerto at the Järvi Festival in July 2024 and the Building Bridges concert series, performing in major concert halls across Europe on the recommendation of Sir András Schiff.

The Alkyona Quartet present fresh, imaginative interpretations of both well-known and hidden gems of the string quartet repertoire. They are renowned for their warm connection to audiences and vivacious performances and are ‘as vibrant and memorable as their ‘Kingfisher’ namesake’. They were Tunnell Trust Award Holders 20/21 and Making Music Selected Artists 21/22 and the Royal College of Music String Quartet Fellows 2022/23.
