Hi Westies,
Welcome to "Learn the Easiest Beginner Basic West Coast Swing Dance" Meetup Group! This is a very friendly group for anyone who would love to learn the basic beginner West Coast Swing - this is the place to start! No pressure; just a safe place to learn the basics. We’ll also talk about places to go for workshops, advanced lessons and social dance events. This is meant for a beginner-beginner looking to learn the basic west coast swing dance with no pressure; no partner needed. By taking the beginner lesson, you will be able to join any West Coast Swing social dance event and get to enjoy West Coast Swing social dancing.
Lessons are held twice a month, depending on venue availability, early afternoons at Kent Commons Community Center (525 4th Ave. N, Kent, WA). A schedule will be posted on the events, and I will also send you reminders prior to the scheduled event. YOU MAY TAKE THE BEGINNER BASIC LESSON AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WOULD LIKE!
A sliding scale $5-$10 donation to help offset venue fee is much appreciated.
