Hi Westies,
Welcome to "Learn the Easiest Beginner Basic West Coast Swing Dance" Meetup Group! This is a very friendly group for anyone who would love to learn the basic beginner West Coast Swing - this is the place to start! No pressure; just a safe place to learn the basics. We’ll also talk about places to go for workshops, advanced lessons and social dance events. This is meant for a beginner-beginner looking to learn the basic west coast swing dance with no pressure; no partner needed. By taking the beginner lesson, you will be able to join any West Coast Swing social dance event and get to enjoy West Coast Swing social dancing.
The FREE Beginner Lessons are held at Kent Commons Community Center (525 4th Ave. N, Kent, WA), just before the monthly social West Coast Swing Social Dance at the same venue and scheduled from 4:00-5:00pm every 4th and 5th Saturday of the month. Then the social dance follows at 5:30-9:00pm (social dance has $20 entrance fee).
