Kent LDWA are hosting the ever popular High Weald Challenge Event. This in not a social walk it is a challenge event - there is a small fee to enter the event.
There are 3 distances to choose from - 26, 20 or 15 miles. 26 milers start from 8.30am, other routes start at 10am (and not before).
Start/Finish - Langton Green Village Hall - Speldhurst Road, Langton Green, TN3 0JJ - What3Words ///shine.jump.innovate
Three brand new routes exploring the undulating countryside around the river Medway, offering lovely views. All three routes lead to the pretty village of Hartfield (CP1). The 15 miles route then goes back to Langton Green, while the 20 & 26 miles routes are common until Boarshead (CP2) through peaceful footpaths & lanes. The 26 miles route then visits the picturesque village of Frant (CP3) before heading back to HQ via Tunbridge Wells.
Total entry limit 150. Langton Green Village Hall is situated three miles from Tunbridge Wells rlwy st. Taxis or buses (231/281) can be used to reach the hall - car park adjacent to the hall

- Long Man Revisited (23 miles)Village Green Lane, Eastbourne
Kent LDWA Social Walk of approx 23 miles over a hilly route
Meet/start point is East Dean Car Park on Village Green Lane (off Gilbert's Drive). What3Words: ///speeches.tucked.ticklingThis is a beautiful walk offering fantastic views of the Sussex countryside, South Downs and the Long Man of Wilmington. A hilly walk with some moderately challenging climbs, total ascent is approx 3200ft. Lunch stop will be in Alfriston (bring a picnic, visit the pub or one of the local cafes).

Meeting point is the Crossroads in Brenzett village (mini roundabout). Please park carefully on approach roads.
A Romney Marsh route to coincide with the 60th anniversary re-enactment of the Dr Syn books by Russell Thorndike in Dymchurch. Visiting Old Romney church (+6 others) which Disney repainted for their film of the books.
