Sevenoaks & Dunks Green - Knole House and Ightham Mote

For meetup members on here who would prefer to pay in cash instead, please could you post on this event (the day before walk) saying that you will be attending this meetup and I will make a note of this.

The West Kent Walking group normally ask their meetup members to pay in cash on the day of the walk, hence offering you the alternative option.

Should any meetup member on here be using the Ramblers offer of 3 walks for free before joining the Ramblers please contact Nick who will subsequently advise me of the situation preferably at least 24 hours before this walk takes place.

Walk Description: Walk route as follows Vine Cricket Ground, Knole House, Godden Green, Stone Street, Ightham Mote (5.5 miles), Fairlawne Park & Dunk's Green (7.6 miles) where there will be a picnic Lunch & a pub stop for drinks. Walk then continues along the Greensand way taking in Shipbourne, Ightham Mote (10 miles), One Tree Hill, Knole Park and St. Nicholas church (13.9 miles). Last part of walk goes via the high street of Sevenoaks town then the Vine Cricket grounds and back to Sevenoaks railway station. Optional drink stop in Sevenoaks town near to the end of this walk. Please use public transport or car share if possible.
