Hungarian workshop: Preposition of places & places in the city

Fodrásznak vagy fodrászhoz megyek?A Balatonban vagy a Balatonon úszok?

Hungarian has a LOT of ways to talk about places, movement and direction — and those little endings can be surprisingly tricky. In this Kerek Perec workshop, we’ll practise some of the most useful ones, including -ban/-ben, -ba/-be, -ra/-re, -ról/-ről, -nál/-nél, -hoz/-hez/-höz and -tól/-től.

Don’t worry — this is not going to be a grammar class. Everything will be speaking-focused, with lots of games and pair work, so you’ll get plenty of opportunities to actually use these endings in conversation.

We’ll have graded activities for different levels, so whether you’re a complete beginner or a more advanced Hungarian learner, there will be something for you. You don’t need to be an expert on Hungarian grammar to join — just come ready to speak, practise and have some fun.

If we decide it's too hot to stay outside we'll head to a nearby café with AC and plenty of iced drinks
