All aboard! Let's explore Budapest's Children's Railway!

Did you know that Budapest has a very special railway where most of the work is done by children? The Children's Railway is one of the city's most unique attractions, running through the beautiful Buda Hills. What makes it so special is that children aged 10–14 take on various railway duties, such as selling tickets, making announcements and helping passengers, all under adult supervision. It's a fascinating tradition that has been part of Budapest's history for decades!

We'll meet at the last stop of tram 56/61 (Hűvösvölgy), hop aboard the Children's Railway and enjoy a scenic train ride through the Buda Hills. Along the way, we'll have plenty of opportunities to chat, learn some useful Hungarian vocabulary and get to know other language learners.

Once we arrive at Normafa, we'll go for an easy walk, enjoy the autumn scenery and play some fun language games and conversation activities.
As always, the focus is on learning Hungarian naturally, through real-life experiences, games and friendly conversations. Everyone is welcome, regardless of their Hungarian level, including complete beginners! We'll make sure that everyone can participate and have fun.

When: 17 October, 1:30-4PM
Meeting point: last stop of tram 56/61 (Hűvösvölgy)
How much: 2000 FT for the event and 1800 FT for the train (2 ways) that everyone can buy on the spot(please not this is not included in the 2000ft)
What to bring: a pen and something to write on
