Details

Centering the Self
A sacred pause for women rethinking what matters, guided by medicine, their inner wisdom and a group of hags.

After decades in motion, caring, producing, navigating roles and responsibilities. Now, a demand rising from the self to reorganize your life based on the wisdom you have acquired.

This ketamine-assisted group retreat is designed for women in mid-life and beyond who are eager to claim space and center priorities in her own interests. Together, we’ll step out of default mode and into sacred intention. Through guided preparation, two live psychedelic medicine journeys, and thoughtful integration, we will commune with our wisest selves, dip into internal wells of strength, and seek clarity.

FYI What is Ketamine:
Ketamine is classified as a dissociative anesthetic. It can be administered in multiple ways and for multiple purposes. Used to treat a variety of conditions, and in everyday outpatient procedures for infants to the elderly, it is a very safe medication (for those medically approved).

At certain dosages it is useful at disrupting default mode thinking, lowering psychological defenses, and increasing the general flexibility/fluidity/neuroplasticity of the mind. It can also be used at slightly higher dosages to create a brief 40 minute psychedelic effect, particularly well suited to psychotherapy work.
When used as part of ketamine assisted psychotherapy, including for this group journey, it is self-administered by the client with a self-dissolving tablet, from a prescription after a clinical and medical evaluation.

FYI What is Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP):
Ketamine can be used for strictly medical purposes. It can also be used solely for an interesting experience. Psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy is the active use of the tools of psychotherapy, combined with the psychedelic and neuroplasticity effects of the medicine, to help people heal from what ails them.

FYI What is the Group KAP experience with Ketamine Kollaborations:
Groups are idyllic “travel” opportunities for ketamine assisted psychotherapy journeys. Small, and intimate, sprinkled with ritual, sharing, music, connection, they are great places of healing. Beginning over video and then during live or virtual medicine sessions, you will prepare for your trips as a group, exploring and building focused intentions for the psychological/ spiritual/ relational work you are bringing to your inner healer.

For the medicine session we will join in a lovely, shared space either live or virtually. We approach the medicine sessions themselves with focused minds, a ceremonial spirit, some communal intention setting, and a supportive environment. During your journey multiple therapists will be available to support and guide you or sit quietly by your side while you have your internal experience.

After your medicine journeys, the group will be where you consider how you might integrate the experiences of your journey to enrich your life. There is truly nothing like sharing that experience with others who are similarly disrupting their default mode thinking. It is a bit like magic.

FYI What is Ketamine Kollaborations:
Ketamine Kollaborations provides psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy education and journey experiences, for clients and clinicians. Located in Philly, it is a collaboration between two local outpatient psychotherapy practices, Full Living: A Psychotherapy Practice and The Ko-op: Psychedelic Psychotherapy Cooperative, which both offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy to clients in individual, couple and group setting.

Karen and Sophia work together to offer 1 and 3 hour CEU education, 6 to 8 week Training/Practicums for licensed clinicians, Group Ketamine Clinical Journeys, as well as supervisory and program-development services.
