Would you like to keto-better?
I would enjoy meeting up to share keto recipies, stories, keto-resources, and have keto-topical discussions. I would like to add a "social network" dimension to this culinary nerd-out adventure that my son and I have embarked on only a month ago since he's returned from his freshman year at college.
A ketogenic diet can change the basic energy source used by the brain to fuel our thoughts and emotions (from glucose to ketones!) and this may be helpful in a number of ways for a wide variety of mental health issues. The research is just beginning to get started, but while we are waiting for the results of randomized controlled experiments to provide solid scientific data, folks are trying out the diet to see what it feels like and if they like it. And there is also a very a steep learning curve in adapting to a ketogenic lifestyle. Its filled with lots of novelty and adventure.
