Sat Sept 20th Fort Totten Cannon & Tunnel Exploration

We will meet at the comfort station (Bathroom) in the parking lot at the entrance to the Fort.
Q13 & Q16 Busses stop at entrance where we meet, if you want to use public transportation to get to Fort Totten
Meet time is 12 noon, hike start is 12:15 pm. Duration is about 2 hours + or - a few minutes.

We will hike partially along the bay to get under the Throg's Neck Bridge Piers for a Group pic shot. Then into Fort Totten, to explore the Cannon emplacements and supporting construction. This a bit of history
Distance will vary.

Attendance is at your own risk, and by joining, you agree to hold us not responsible for any accidents, injuries, losses or unforeseen problems that may arise. This includes contamination by any germs, viruses, or any other illnesses.

If the grouping, numbers of attendees and distances get too close, we will break into two separate groups. This should satisfy any limitations on numbers of hikers and distancing.
