Tatum Park Hike

Details
This is a real hidden gem of a park with a wide variety of terrain, from historic open farm fields to steep narrow paths winding through the forest with soaring trees, down into the marsh and glens, doing the ramble walk and heading back on the gravel paths.
It’s a solid 10,000 steps and including the ramble loop it’s probably 16,000…or about 6 miles altogether.
Please wear the right shoes and be sure to bring water.
The homestead there is beautiful and well kept. It’s also adjacent to the Deep Cut Gardens which is also a treat for the afternoon or another day.
You can find more information on the great places we have to still visit at https://www.monmouthcountyparks.com/page.aspx?Id=2538
Please note, we are not professional tour guides, usually visit these places at least once to scout them, occasionally get lost and are not responsible for your personal safety.
