Crafting Props and Costumes Party – To Teach Kids Financial Literacy!

Details

What comes to mind when you think of Financial Literacy? Debt Monsters with tentacles made of panty-hose? A giant Connect Four game to store your savings? Earning your income via a 5-legged race?

These economic concepts and more are all part of the immersive game we’re developing for Hawthorne School District’s STEAM Carnival on April 13th to teach the youth about the impact of financial decisions through a role-playing game in a fantastical setting that you will help make even more fantastical!

Come chill with us at the Two Bit Circus MicroAmusement Park, use your opposable thumbs, and maybe learn a thing or two about finance yourself. Or at least about how to hot-glue bling to a cape.If you have crafting tools you want to use or supplies you want to declutter, those would be great to bring too!

If you can't make this time, we have more sessions -- or could even set one up if you have a group -- email mya@twobitcircus.org to find out more.
