A Sunday Hike at La Perouse Bay with great photo opportunities

Details
I am sorry that the forest walk did not work out. It would have been too muddy there even if it did not rain. I propose to hike the trail next to La Perouse Bay. It is very dry there, and it rarely rains there. Bring a lot of water, since it may be hot and dry. Part of the trail consists of small rocks, so I strongly recommend that you wear hiking shoes. It is a great hike with many opportunities for ocean photography (see photo below in which waves hit lava rocks). There are beautiful basalt cliffs near the trail, and feral goats to be photographed (We may not see them if they decide to stay up on the mountain). To get there take the Pi’ilani Highway South to Wailea. The road turns right and goes down to Wailea and it turns left. Take the road to the end, where it turns into a dirt road. Stay on the dirt road to the end. There is a parking lot there. I will be there with a blue Subaru and a blue shirt. If your car cannot go on a dirt road (if you have a 4 wheel-drive, you should not have problems driving on the road), call me at 214-5326. I have room for 2-3 people. Dov
