What we’re about

Looking for a refreshing twist to your fitness routine?
Eager to connect with a supportive community?

Rucking is the activity of walking or hiking with a loaded backpack, typically used as a form of exercise or training, and it's accessible to people of all ages and fitness levels, offering a versatile workout that can be tailored to individual capabilities.

We are looking for anyone who lives around the areas of North Kildare that include Clane, Kilcock, Celbridge, Sallins, Maynooth, Naas, and Lucan who are interested in exercise that will benefit:

Posture Improvement 
Joint Health 
Bone Density
Mental Health Improvement
Cardiovascular Fitness 
Calorie Burn
Muscle Strength

The group will meet weekly to do 3-5km rucks at a suitable walking area in one of the locations mentioned above, followed by tea/coffee. It may be your hometown one week, and a neighbouring one the following week - variety is the spice of life!

Age and fitness are not a concern as this is ideal for almost anybody due to it's low impact on the joints and ability to scale according to your fitness level.

Become part of a friendly group. We plan socials throughout the year.
