About us
Kildevæld Digital Workshop is a community workshop at Kildevæld Kulturcenter in Copenhagen Ø, with hands-on events for people who are curious about digital fabrication, creative technology, crafts and making.
Our workshops give you an opportunity to learn by doing. Depending on the event, you might explore 3D printing, laser cutting, 3D modelling, electronics, wireless communication, creative crafts or other tools and technologies.
Events range from beginner-friendly creative workshops to more technical sessions, and previous experience is usually not required. Each event description explains the age requirements, language, what you need to bring and any other practical details.
The activities are volunteer-driven and take place at Kildevæld Kulturcenter, Bellmansgade 3C, 2100 Copenhagen Ø.
In addition to our scheduled events, we have an Open Workshop every Tuesday from 17:00–21:00, where you can come by with your own project, experiment with the workshop's tools and get help from the volunteers. If possible, bring your own computer.
Events and use of the workshop are free unless otherwise stated, although materials used in the machines may need to be purchased at the workshop. Places for scheduled events may be limited, and registration is normally required through the official event registration link.

Design Your Own Charms & Keyrings | 3D Printing & Laser Cutting

Design and make your own charms and keyrings while discovering how 3D printing and laser cutting can be used for creative projects.
During the workshop, we’ll explore how a 3D printer and laser cutter can be used to make parts for small, personal designs. You’ll then assemble and decorate your pieces to create charms for bags or keyrings that you can take home.
No previous experience is needed. We’ll work together along the way, so you can get to know the machines while experimenting with your own ideas.
✨ Practical information
- For ages 12 and up
- No computer needed
- We’ll use tools and materials including fast-drying glue, scissors, needle and thread, and jewellery pliers, so participants should be able to handle these safely
- The workshop takes place in Værkstedet at Kildevæld Kulturcenter
- The café will be open if you’d like to buy food or drinks
- Participation is free, but places are limited

Make Your Own Halloween Lantern 🎃 | Free Creative Workshop

Join us for a creative and slightly spooky afternoon at Kildevæld Digital Workshop and make your own Halloween lantern.
You’ll design and decorate your lantern using different materials and techniques, giving it your own personal look. When you’re finished, you can add a light and take your lantern home ready for Halloween.
No previous experience is needed, and all materials are provided.🎃 Practical information
- For ages 10 and up
- All materials are included
- Wear clothes that can handle a little paint
- Everyone gets to take their finished lantern home
- Participation is free, but places are limited
