Rotary Club of Killeen Heights Wheelchair Ramp Build in Kempner

Details
The Rotary Club of Killeen Heights needs your help for our first wheelchair ramp build of the year!
On Saturday, August 16th, we will build a wheelchair ramp in Kempner for a veteran who will be transitioning out of physical rehabilitation following surgery. We hope to have members of the other Killeen-area Rotary Clubs, other service organizations, and individuals interested in serving the community join us!
We will meet at the Fred T. Venable VFW Post 3393, located at 424 County Rd 4931 in Kempner, at 7:45 AM and convoy to the home.
Bring work gloves, eye protection, battery-operated drills/screwdrivers, and wear closed-toe shoes.
The family we're building the ramp for will be cooking hamburgers for us and will provide water and Gatorade.
Can't swing a hammer or carry heavy stuff? That's OK - come out and give us moral support! Don't know how to build a ramp or use power tools? No worries - we will teach you!
Let's make this a great day of service and fellowship! If the Meetup signup is full, please email khrotarysecretary@gmail.com.
